My "Why"

The photography bug bit me when I was young watching my dad with his old film camera as a nature photographer hobbyist. He bought me my very own Nikon Coolpix and I would spend hours taking photos of blades of grass, animals, and old buildings. Photography is an amazing outlet, allowing people to express themselves in such a personal and creative way. No photographer is the same. We all have our personal style, add our own personal touches, and that's what makes everyone unique. Photography allows us to break out of our shells, push our boundaries, forever learning and growing. I have been an avid photographer for years now and it is such a wonderful feeling to catch a moment with a genuine smile on someone's face, a baby's laughter, or that sparkle in someone's eye when they are looking at the love of their life, or afterwards when someone tells you that you helped them feel beautiful; THAT's why I decided I wanted to do this

About Me

I currently work full time as a mental health therapist for a not-for-profit, as well as in private practice. Although my passions have stayed consistent as I got older, my dreams have shifted slightly. I now envision a safe space for people to explore themselves, whether it is through therapeutic routes or photography. I imagine fostering happiness, empowerment, and igniting a love for life through many different mediums and am so excited to share it all with you. So while I am supporting people process, heal, and expand on their own stories, I hope to also support people in capturing these stories and moments in time to treasure and remember forever.

In my spare time I enjoy kayaking, DIYing, camping, and spending quality time with my pets, family, and friends
